About This Gate

The Manor wooden driveway gates are one of our popular set of wooden gates. There chunky frame and rounded ‘ears’ are very pleasing to the eye. They feature beautifully turned spindles that compliment the overall look, and will transform your driveway into an elegant entrance.

These gates are suitable for gate automation.

Please note all of our clad gates have stainless steel nails visible on the face of the gate.

What's the difference?
Softwood

Grown and kiln dried in Scandinavia to joinery quality specification. Our softwood offers a quality gate at a good price. It’s stable, clean, lightweight, yet provides sturdiness and strength.

Sapele Hardwood

West African tree, grown and harvested in a controlled environment. Sapele is well known for it’s durability and beautiful grain. This kiln dried, virtually knot-free timber, is the perfect choice for high quality gates.

What is a Centre Slam?

A centre slam is a strip of timber that fits to one of the gates. Not only does it cover the gap between the gates for added privacy but it also acts as a stop for the last closing gate to knock onto

Do I need this?

Kiln dried joinery quality gates must be treated before going outside. If you don't order treatment from us, you must treat it yourself.

What is a Recoat tin?

This is a 2.5 Ltr tin of our treatment.

We recommend retreating your gates 6 months after installation, and yearly thereafter.
